20th Market Party & Celebration

March 28, 2010 1 min read 4 Comments

I haven't finished unpacking from market, but was so excited to share pictures from Double D Ranch's 20th Anniversary Party from the Dallas Market.

.

Thanks so much to everyone for their well wishes and for coming out to help us celebrate 20 years of fashion.

Who's up for 20 more?!

. . I'm trying out this new flip book feature on Word Press.  I'm not sure I like it.  What do you think? . [book id='2' /]

Gosh, it was great to see the photos of your gala party at Dallas market – you always have the best-dressed people in your showroom!!! The table looked fabulous. Cheryl – was your outfit from Fall collection? It was so pretty……I remember when you were down in a little showroom on the first floor of the old Apparel Mart bldg and showing just a few denim scout jackets & shirts – that must have been at the very beginning and look how far you have come!!!! Congrats!! Enjoyed the flip book!!

I like the concept of the flip book and it was nice to go through the pictures at my own pace, but the captions are a little small and I’m not sure that that I love this particular flip book feature; there must be something else similar though that might look better…it’s a good idea for a slideshow.

Chris – wow thanks for the wonderful compliments. Yes, it does seem like yesterday that we were showing down in the old Apparel Mart and now 20 years later….time does fly and God has blessed us generously!
The dress/duster I wore to the party is from our fall collection. I had the factory make me one in “jumbo” size. It is called ‘Sultan of Swing’ and despite me wearing it, it has sold really well. Velvet looks like it is going to make a big come back for fall so I wanted to be sure to have my bases covered with some great velvet pieces. Speaking of “velvet” – I’d like to have a dollar for every yard I’ve cut & sewn….I could retire!
Again, thank you for your kind comments on the party and our showroom. Have a great Holy Week. – Cheryl
