Mr. Christmas Tree, Move to the Back of the Line

[caption id="attachment_1728" align="alignnone" width="575" caption="making notations on sample approvals"][/caption] .
We say it every year,
January is the toughest month...if we can make it through January, we'll make it through the rest of the year!
.
Here is what we are currently juggling with both hands and feet:
.
  • preparing for next week's break of the Fall 2010 collection - Double D Ranchâ„¢'s key collection of the year
  • finalizing last-minute designs (Fall 2010)
  • approving last minute changes on samples (Fall 2010)
  • prepping Spring 2010 catalog for print (Spring 2010)
  • updating website with the 2010 Spring Collection (Spring 2010)
  • starting to ship Spring goods
  • making travel plans and arrangements for 3 markets in 2 weeks
  • begging suppliers to hurry, hurry hurry...please, please, PLEASE  (Fall 2010)
  • kicking off our 20th anniversary celebrations (all year)
  • staring at a dead Christmas tree that needs to be taken down
  • and wrestling a pack of teenage boys who think they are smarter than their mamas!
.
I'm tired already and it's only the 5th of January.
.

That dead Christmas tree over in the corner is going to have to wait.

Thanks Cheryl, my Christmas was very nice. It was probably the last Christmas that both of my boys will be at home, so that made it kind of special. I also had fun with the Double D trivia questions – at least the first two. On the Nudie Cohen question, I knew there wasn’t a featured car in any of the sit-coms so it had to be the Beverly Hillbillies. But since it was a guess I decided not to pull the trigger. Next time I’ll go with my gut.
